Good news has come for the government employees of Madhya Pradesh who have been waiting for a long time for the increase in dearness allowance just a day before Dhanteras. An increase in their dearness allowance has been announced. This dearness allowance is being considered as a Diwali gift from the Chief Minister to the government employees.
Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav while talking to journalists in Bhopal today said that the state government has decided to increase the dearness allowance of all officers and employees. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav informed that 46% dearness allowance has been approved by the state government by the Finance Department's letter dated 14/03/2024. On this basis, the approved rate of dearness allowance was made effective from July 1, 2023. The arrears amount was paid in installments. Now all government servants will be given dearness allowance at the rate of 50% from January 1, 2024. Right now October is going on but we will give it from January 01.
